Our Doña la Negra was abandoned in Catia along with three other dogs, all of them died from different causes and only she was left. After a while a car hit her and that is why she was left with a tumbao’ when she walks.

Since she lived on the street she always ate from the garbage, and one day we saw her mistreated in the streets and after chasing her for a while for several blocks, we managed to catch up with her and grab her and she has been with us ever since.

Yes, she made us run despite her impaired mobility and her age.

Doña la Negra is a beautiful mixed-breed dog that we have already been able to spay her, she’s a large dog, more than the average of our rescued ones.

Because of her age, she is an extremely calm dog who bases her life on eating, sleeping most of the day and doing her business. She is ideal for a house with a backyard. She is not a dog to take for a walk, so the person or family that adopts her will be giving love and tranquility to a pet during the last years of her life.

She gets along with everyone, adult and small humans, other dogs and cats, she eats dry dog food but mostly healthy wet dog food. She really loves to eat!
